Manager - Investment Manager Review

Description
To support the function of R&H Jerseys Investment Manager Review (IMR) & Banking Team, which is responsible for the ongoing monitoring of investments held by R&H client structures and the investment management service providers engaged by them.
Key Responsibilities
Support the function of the IMR team, and in particular:
Manage the ongoing performance monitoring process for portfolios owned by R&H structures, to include (where appropriate):
- Qualitative commentary on portfolio performance
- Discussions with trustees and clients in respect of investment manager performance
- Input / review data related to portfolio mandate / risk profile / restrictions etc.
- Input / review portfolio valuation and asset allocation data
Conduct ongoing due diligence on current / prospective investment management and banking providers, to include (where appropriate):
- Meet with representatives from investment management and banking firms
- Review due diligence information provided by investment managers and banks
- Record due diligence undertaken
Provide consultancy to Trust Team and clients on investment-related matters, including:
- Investment manager selection
- Review of individual investments
- FX, cash & treasury management
- Attending meetings with Trust Team and clients, where relevant;
- Prepare / review reporting to clients and for internal investment oversight meetings
- Attend investment oversight committee and board meetings (where required)
- Manage the IMR team group mailbox
- Continuous improvement of team processes, including development and enhancement of reporting and team marketing material
- Maintain strong relationships with Trust Team, clients and intermediaries
- Any other reasonable duties that may be assigned
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum education level requirements:
- Regulated Qualifications Framework level 4 investment qualification
- Honours degree
- Minimum 5 years experience working in an investment environment, preferably in a consultancy capacity
- Advanced literacy, numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and applications, especially Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritise accordingly
- Extremely flexible, with the ability to work to time pressures, react calmly to changing demands, and complete work in an accurate and timely manner
