This varied role will support the teams across maritime by providing a professional and efficient administrative service for customers and employees to deliver services to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Provide a comprehensive administrative support service to the Maritime teams. Including but not limited to; registration and transfer of ownership of local vessels, preparation of routine correspondence, preparing reports, briefing notes and presentations, database and document administration, diary and meeting management, creating agendas and taking notes at meetings.
Act as a first point of contact for Maritime customers and employees, demonstrating a strong customer service ethos whilst maintaining an awareness of the workload and operational priorities within the business.
Assist colleagues in finance administration including purchase orders and processing invoices.
Support Marine Services with travel arrangements and administration for off island crew, ensuring value for money is achieved in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
Participate and support facilities management for the Harbour Estates, ensuring the proper operation of the department’s buildings or offices, ensuring the maintenance of the buildings/premises via fault reporting.
Assisting with the co-ordination of building and area access by administering the Maritime Security Pass system, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures
Assist managers by publishing rosters, maintaining training records, booking courses and supporting the induction of employees.
Take responsibility for the administration of the post.
Ensure the Maritime Teams are kept informed of corporate initiatives and changes to policies and procedure.
