Our busy and dynamic Business Development & Marketing team is recruiting for an Assistant based in Jersey. This role would suit a school leaver or a graduate looking for an entry position into the marketing environment, who has the ambition to progress and develop. Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant role includes the following specific responsibilities:
Supporting the CRM Systems Manager with data processing and updates to ensure data is accurate and up to date.
Organising photo shoots and co-ordinating the staffing movements process with HR and the Marketing & Communications team to ensure staff and firm profiles are created and appropriately maintained.
Formatting profile photos and other imagery for use across a variety of channels, with oversight of the Marketing & Design Executive.
Assisting with stock control of marketing materials.
Assisting with producing in-house marketing materials and event collateral, with oversight of the Marketing & Design Executive.
Assisting with loading content onto the Mourant Ozannes website(s).
Maintaining and updating credential records, referrals tracking & deals database.
Assisting with event organisation, preparing materials and attending if required.
Processing supplier invoices.
Assisting with projects undertaken by the team.
Assisting with ad hoc research, as directed by team members.
Providing back-up support to create and deliver market intelligence internally when required.
Desired Skills and Experience
Educated to A Level ideally with strong grades in English.
Confident communicator.
Able to demonstrate high levels of initiative.
Strong personal organisational and time management skills and the ability to understand and prioritise their workload tasks, time, budgets and people in order to meet deadlines.
Proficient in the main Microsoft applications.
Ideally a familiarity with web content management systems would be an advantage but is not essential. An understanding of working within brand guidelines would also be an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
