This is a technical hands-on role leading a team of Network & Security Technicians, delivering technical support across the organisation. The role requires that you will to be passionate about the ever changing environment of Network and Security infrastructure services, particularly the shift towards Cloud computing, as well as technically expert in a number of key Ogier technologies.

The role has a broad range of IT responsibilities in group-wide projects as well as systems maintenance, including upgrades, new features and new implementations, system and Cloud admin; in which we are responsible for successful technical delivery.

Our team provides quality support for a wide range of on-prem and Cloud infrastructure, across six jurisdictions, acting as the second/third line of internal support.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

IT professional qualifications in line with the Ogier technical infrastructure stack  e.g: Cisco; HPE; Citrix; Microsoft etc.

Skilled in the production of strategies and roadmaps that can be used to communicate organisational direction

Excellent project management skills, with demonstrable experience of leading complex projects with financial and delivery timescales

High level problem solving skills and ability to deconstruct a challenge to evaluate root cause

Up to date knowledge of industry standards and best practice in network and security

Excellent understanding of technical change processes, upgrades, paths and release management

Postholder will be a team player that works with and communicates well within and across our technical teams, actively prompting respect for colleagues, sharing of skills and information and building trust amongst teams.

Postholder will have good organisational skills and be able to schedule their work under conflicting demands

Will promote a mentoring mentality within the team

A minimum of 10 years proven skills and experience in the following technologies:

• Cisco/HP Aruba network management
• Aruba wireless services
• Aruba ClearPass NAC
• Palo Alto Firewall management
• Zscaler web gateway management
• SD-WAN network services
• Microsoft Security Systems such as Defender for Endpoint
• Solarwinds Monitoring systems
• Telephony services
• Certificate management
• Hardware Lifecycle management
