Non-Executive Directorships at JT
£25,000 per annum (3-year Tenure)

JT is seeking two Non-Executive Directors to help drive the on-going growth and diversification of our global communications business.
We have two NED opportunities which will both hold critical positions on the group Board.
We are particularly seeking applicants who are either resident on the Channel Islands or who have a background in the technology sector.

Key responsibilities:

Working with the executive to oversee the evolution and implementation of JTG’s Strategy, alongside other key aspects such as future executive remuneration and management succession.
Providing external, independent counsel on the company’s affairs and its governance, representing the interests of all stakeholders.
Contributing to the quality of board debate by providing appropriate challenge/intellectual analysis and keeping the focus on strategic issues

Who are we looking for:

The Non-Executive Director will be a recognised business leader, respected internally and externally for his/her business acumen and integrity.
It is desirable but not essential that one of the candidate is a resident of the Channel Islands preferably Jersey and able to show that they possess an understanding of the culture, political processes and economic needs of the Islands.
One of the roles will require the Non-Executive Director to have held senior executive board positions in major companies within in the technology sector.
