Purpose of the role: We love the energy and creativity that pushes us to change who we are and how we work, so we are looking for Paralegals who can embrace our innovative environment, and who are excited by the projects underway. This role will support our Corporate team in Jersey and offer valuable exposure to corporate work in both Jersey and the British Virgin Islands. Key responsibilities: To undertake work in support of a team of fee earners, meeting an agreed target chargeable hours Assisting the team with team-specific financials/matter management e.g. budgets, WIP, aged debt reporting Undertaking various searches at the request of fee-earners along with drafting and amending legal documents, (including, and without limitation, legal opinions, conveyance documents, plans for presentation in court, opinion certificates and corporate authorisations etc. as appropriate) Skills, knowledge & expertise: We love technology, so you'll need to be tech savvy, plus you'll want to progress either in a permanent Paralegal role, or onto our England & Wales Trainee Solicitor programme. If you've got previous Legal experience through a paralegal role, or suitable academic credentials (LPC/GDL/LLB), then you could be right for our progressive opportunities.
