An exciting opportunity has arisen for a person with the right combination of qualifications, skills and experience to ensure the continued efficient administration of the Parish of St Helier. With a turnover in excess of £15m, and a workforce of more than 250 people, the Parish provides a range of vital public services to ratepayers, Islanders and visitors to the capital of the Island.
As Chief Executive you will be responsible for the strategic leadership and management of all Parish-run services within St Helier, working closely with the Constable. The successful candidate will have demonstrable leadership skills and awareness of the challenges of working in a senior role in a political environment. He or she must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders in the Parish and Island community.
