Islands are a leading general insurance business who have three offices in the Channel Islands. We currently have several opportunities available in our Personal Insurance Team in Jersey for a Personal Insurance Broker, dealing with a full range of Personal Insurance Products.
The role: This is a busy customer-focussed role, dealing with clients both face-to-face and by
telephone therefore applicants must be adaptable and able to cope in a reactive environment.
You would be required to liaise with both new and existing clients to discuss their insurance
requirements, upselling suitable products in order to support their needs.
Skills and Experience Required:- Previous Insurance industry experience and holding Cert CII (or working towards it) would be advantageous Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Customer focussed with a confident approach as you will be required to deal with clients both face to face and on the telephone
- Ambitious with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Good level of general education, Maths and English Language GCSE (or equivalent) A-C grades minimum
- An effective team player who is comfortable working on his or her own initiative
