An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Product Development function to assist in bringing new digital communication and efficiency solutions to market.

This role would be ideal if you are a passionate individual with an entrepreneurial flair looking for that break in product management, the Channel Island tech communities or the next step up in your career. As a Product Executive, you will support the progression of our product visions, strategies and development roadmaps and play a key role in shaping the future of Vaiie through your research, product launches and strategic developments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work in collaboration with our technical development teams and business leaders to design and deliver new products and services
  2. Develop the product strategy, go-to-market plans, positioning, messaging and all elements related to the business case
  3. Discover product opportunities/enhancements that are valuable, usable and feasible
  4. Facilitate and coordinate idea generation and input from stakeholders, team members and development partners
  5. Develop deep user insights, business knowledge and expertise and continuously deepen that knowledge to envision opportunities
  6. Work with user experience teams and technology partners to envision product enhancements and new features
  7. Accountable for monitoring performance and provide optimisation to maximise impact and increase service usage
  8. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and communicate product strategy, roadmap and comprehensive release plans
  9. Research, monitor and analyse emerging digital topics and trends to assess and make recommendations on future direction
  10. Deploy and use best practices to measure, understand and optimise the success of the products you own
  11. Based on product vision and strategy, design new features and propose improvements to existing features to maximise impact
  12. Collect, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders on an ongoing basis

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in product management and/or digital marketing (from either agency or client-side) and/or show an entrepreneurial flair that demonstrates the knowledge and skills needed to take an idea from conception through the product development journey to the point of launch. It would be desirable for a candidate to demonstrate:
  1. Experience in product development and/or user experience with working knowledge of marketing
  2. Passion and interest in all things digital
  3. Ability to provide support on strategic business matters
  4. Experience with balancing requirements and minimising complexity
  5. Problem solving skills and ability to prioritise issues and analysis
  6. Ability to work independently with credibility, usually within an often ambiguous environment
  7. Ability to build rigorous fact-bases that support recommendations to team members and management 
  8. Ability to communicate effectively and confidently, and work well in cross-functional teams
