We're on the hunt for a Product Manager to join our Product & Delivery team who have a focus on bringing Vaiie's RegTech software to market.  The role would ideally suit an individual with a passion for digital and is attracted to the idea of working in an agile environment with the benefits of belonging to a larger organisation and global network. You’ll be part of a team that genuinely cares about helping you succeed.  You’ll work alongside talented colleagues, many of whom have built unique and insightful careers while progressing through multiple roles, establishing lifelong friendships and making a difference.  In return for your contributions, you’ll receive competitive compensation and benefits, discretionary bonus scheme, pension, health cash plan, plus numerous partner discounts. Reporting to our Programme Manager, you will provide product leadership and direction to the wider teams supporting our shared vision, strategy and roadmap for our transformational services to help shape the future of our business and that of our clients.  You will build on market and client needs and be the bridge that connects the product vision to design, user experience, and development as we bring products and features to life. As a Vaiie Product Manager, you will collect and analyse customer demands for client onboarding and identity verification and use this data to enhance solutions from our product portfolio which includes the Onboard, Identify, and Locate products and contribute to product expansion plans.  You’ll own, refine, and enhance product strategies and roadmaps / go-to-market plans, positioning, messaging, and all elements related to the business case for allocated Vaiie products to maximise revenue and profit for Vaiie through product delivery. Scope to engage with the Island's regulatory and compliance community is provided to allow you to develop and enhance Vaiie’s brand as a leading RegTech provider and amplify our credibility in the compliance space.  With the Vaiie brand behind you, you will be recognised as part of a team of experts in this space. We require our Product Manager to be entrepreneurial and innovative to ensure that the business continues to evolve and develop, remaining relevant to its stakeholders in a fast changing, technological environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Vaiie Product Manager you'll be responsible for defining the product visions and bringing them to life, you will be a key part of the team and our future success.  Day to day, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Accountable for monitoring the performance of your allocated products, incorporating your findings along with user trends into the future product roadmaps to ensure we provide improvements that maximise the benefits we give to our clients
  • Translate your visions into reality by collaborating with our user experience, development teams, and business leaders to enhance the existing product portfolio and design and deliver new RegTech products and services
  • Understand and communicate complex user personas and insights; presenting summary findings to appropriate stakeholders and team members.
  • Develop deep user insights, business knowledge, industry expertise and continuously deepen that knowledge to envision opportunities that are valuable, usable, and feasible
  • Research, monitor and analyse emerging digital, technology, and RegTech topics and trends to assess and make recommendations on future direction
  • Provide guidance for the team by supporting training and development of others serving as a positive role model, mentor, and team player
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple departments and locations
  • Deploy and use best practices to measure, understand and optimise the success of the products you own
  • Collect, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders on an ongoing basis

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in software product management and show an entrepreneurial flair that demonstrates the knowledge and skills needed to take an idea from conception through the product development journey to the point of launch. It would be desirable for a candidate to demonstrate:
  • Passion and interest in digital is preferred along with experience in software product development, a working knowledge of financial services, compliance, or regulation would be a bonus but is not essential
  • Meaningful experience in the development of business cases, project plans, user personas, requirements definition, product/service strategy, roadmap planning and execution
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently, we need a storyteller that can work well in cross-functional teams, and influence senior business leaders on strategic business matters
  • Ability to break down and balance customer requirements into product components, features and technologies that are flexible, buildable, testable, re-usable, and most importantly simple
  • Exceptional analytical /problem-solving skills combined with the ability to prioritise findings and make informed evidenced based decisions which align to the product development roadmap
  • Highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well under pressure without close supervision resulting in good decision making and judgement
  • Experience leveraging key performance indicators and data to provide insights which inform strategic business recommendations
