Full Description

Lead the successful delivery of projects using your technical expertise, tools and techniques, during this contract within an award winning banking and investment firm.

Within this role you will lead all aspects of the project lifecycle, from the planning stage through to execution and closing/handover procedures and ensure projects are delivered within approved parameters in terms of scope, cost and quality.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the project planning stage, securing authorisations, and reviewing project plans

  • Building strong working relationships with business owners, process owners and technology colleagues

  • Tracking and managing the execution of projects, including leading the delivery team and managing risk

  • Monitoring project progress against the defined schedule and budget

  • Creating project and training documents ready for the end of the project and submitting documents to formally close projects

Experience and skills required:

  • Ideally hold a project management qualification

  • Minimum 5 years project management experience

  • Excellent relationship building skills

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Ability to lead and manage a team
