Full Description

Jersey has a traffic collision and casualty problem (particularly among vulnerable road users) which is of a magnitude greater than similar jurisdictions, and which can be addressed. Following the 2021 Island Road Safety Review recommendations the Government of Jersey is committed to realigning it approach to road safety by embracing the international Safe System Approach to Road Safety and establishing a Road Safety Partnership across relevant government sectors. It has also set the challenging but achievable goal of halving the number of killed and seriously injured road casualties within the next ten years.
