SECURITY OPERATIONS MANAGER Create the shape of things to come Here at Ports of Jersey (PoJ), improving the experience for the 2.3 million passengers that travel through our Airport and Harbour terminals every year is a key focus. As part of that commitment, we’re bringing our security operations and the teams that deliver that service in-house, and we are now looking for a great people manager to join us and create the shape of things to come. We’re open minded about where you’ve gained your impressive team leading, operational and customer-related expertise, but a background in security is expected. The core operations and regulatory processes are paramount, and it will be the quality of your great leadership skills that will deliver this critical service. Leading, motivating and effectively engaging with your 130-strong team won’t happen from behind a desk, so being out there and understanding the operation is vital. Many front-line security activities are routine but essential, and with our new future airport terminal programme underway, you and your team will significantly contribute to the future of PoJ. This is a new journey for us and a superb opportunity to make a positive difference and contribute to the future of PoJ.
