Full Description

Purpose of the role: To be part of the accounting team and be responsible for all aspects of the financial reporting work assigned to the accounting team.The role will include liaising with individual administration team members to ensure timely production of high-quality accounts and responses to ad-hoc client queries. Responsibilities: Take responsibility for an allocated portfolio of clients and prepare annual financial statements, management accounts and other ad-hoc financial reporting from the accounting records of the client entities as maintained by the administrator or bookkeeper Post through PMG/Xero and Excel final bookkeeping entries and workings required to produce financial reporting and perform year end ledger close-down procedures Liaise with the appointed Auditors to complete the audit of financial statements in accordance with defined timetables Skills required: The post holder will hold appropriate accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA/ACA) or be suitably qualified by virtue of relevant experience Significant experience of preparing trust accounts, especially for real estate and financial instruments holding structures and accounting at asset holding level Comprehensive knowledge of current IFRS/UK GAAP (FRS 102) reporting and experience in accounting for a range of private clients and family office structures Experience with private clients, real estate and corporate action events preferred Ability to be proactive with very close attention to detail to ensure work is of a consistently high standard Exceptional, administrative, analytical and organisational skills are essential, with accurate and timely completion of work
