The Systems Technician (Desktop) will ensure that the Desktop platform used in the organisation are implemented and maintained in a professional manner. You will design, build, test, implement and support desktop services in line with the Government of Jersey technology strategy.
You will need proven experience of working in a multi-disciplinary organisation and will be responsible for actively resolving to problems that are encountered across the organisation.
You will ensure that applications on the desktop are compliant with organisational methodologies, procedures and polices.
Strong communication skills are essential to be successful in this role.
Professional qualifications such as MCSE, VCP, CCNA and ITIL are highly desirable.
