The Government of Jersey is recruiting for a Transition & Release Lead.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the effective transition of IT Services into live Service. The role holder will be expected to work together with the Change lead and Project Management to deliver a smooth transition of all IT services.
You will contribute to the design and planning of new IT services and standards in accordance with policy and industry best practices to enhance performance.
The role holder will engage cross-functionally to deploy new or changed services in line with architectures, standards, plans, policies, and procedures, to release new capability.
A key element of the role will be to design, plan, implement, maintain Operational processes for the release of new capability into the organisation using a centralised management tool.
You will be skilled in best practice for Service Operations, Service Transition, and Service Design with the ability to apply frameworks, tools, and methodologies pragmatically.
To be successful in this role you should also have an up-to-date understanding of IT services and products, a good standard of education, and have experience in a similar role.
