Apple has created a Twitter account just for answering questions about Apple Music

The free Apple Music trials are at an end, so the technology giant is looking for new ways to engage existing users and entice in new ones – and it’s starting with a Twitter account.

@AppleMusicHelp is a dedicated account for anyone who has a question about the music streaming service. It’s being run and monitored by Apple staff every day between 6am and 8pm Pacific Time in the US – 2pm to 4am to us in the UK – and is the first Twitter account to offer full support for an Apple product.

The account follows a YouTube drive for Apple Music as well; with a host of video tutorials on how to use the service having been posted in the last two weeks.

Now that free trials are over, Apple are clearly very keen on convincing people to stick around and start paying for the service, and upping accessibility and support for it can only help with that.

Adding extra support makes sense for another reason too; Apple Music will become the first Apple service to make the jump to Android, which is likely to mean lots of users new to Apple’s interface.
