It’s commonplace of any sporting occasion on TV these days to see the cameras scan the crowd.
But when this happened at an Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game in the US, the commentators spotted something they couldn’t help but laugh at; a group of girls taking selfies. A lot of selfies.
Clearly this most millenial behaviour wasn’t much to their liking, as the commentators can be heard laughing at the photo-mad spectacle going on in front of them.
The commentators were heard questioning whether the range of angles and facial expressions were needed, as well as pointing out that not a single one is paying any attention to the massive sporting event going on directly in front of them. There was an impressive array of iPhone cases on display though.
FYI girls, the Diamondbacks beat the Colorado Rockies 8-6.
