The first peak at much rumoured Far Cry 5 have appeared online, with the award-winning franchise coming to America for the first time.
Four short trailers each show the landscape of Hope County, Montana, but each also has a sinister twist.
From a fleeing man being shot as he runs across a field to a woman’s scream sending forest birds soaring into the sky, it’s clear that despite the stunning setting, Far Cry 5 is likely to be pretty bleak.
It’s unclear from any of the videos what time period the game is set in, but hopefully publisher Ubisoft will be able to clear up a few of the questions when the game’s worldwide reveal takes place – confirmed for this Friday.
