There are plenty of ways people try and make their exercise routines more interesting, whether it be by listening to music or trying new activities.
But one man in Portland, Oregon, decided to get a little more creative with his exercise, using the route-mapping function in the Nike+ running app to “draw” some familiar shapes.
Gene Lu is clearly not just an avid runner, he’s also quite a big Star Wars fan.
From Stormtrooper to Darth Vader, the drawings are impressively accurate.
We’re also big fans of this AT-AT.
Not only has Gene taken to sharing the runs with the world, he also uploaded the turn-by-turn directions to Dropbox so anyone can download them – though they are based on the streets of Portland.
Gene is in fact something of a running artist, having also mapped out the various house banners from Game Of Thrones.
That’s a pretty good House Stark logo. Sadly, our runs are never this creative.
