Everyone and their dog has brought out a smartwatch, so it was surely only a matter of time until Huawei did the same.
We went hands on to see whether the Huawei Watch is any good.
So, it does what you would expect of a smartwatch. On top of that, it looks good, and is lighter than you’d expect for something so chunky.
Users of Google Now will love this watch, as it adds an extra layer of notifications to the basic ones you’d expect once you’ve paired the watch to your phone. Other highlights include 4GB of storage and two days of battery life with moderate usage.
It’s slightly let down by its software not entirely delivering visually on what it promises but Huawei and Google have a lot of time to improve the product.
The Huawei Watch in the video, complete with a leather band, costs £289.
