Sony has launched its cloud gaming service, PlayStation Now, into Beta in the UK, promising gamers the chance to play classic PS3 titles that stream over the Net. It’s been billed as “Netflix for games”, but does the service stack up?
For decades computers and consoles have relied on physical media to store and play games. Whether it was a cassette tape, a floppy, hard drive, cartridge, CD, DVD or Blu-ray, gamers had something tangible to hand when playing games. But PlayStation Now changes all that.
