Donald Trump spends most of his days trolling. It seems like he says things simply to create outrage, and it almost always works.
But now he’s taken to trolling his fellow Republican candidate Jeb Bush online as well as in real life – or at least someone inside his campaign or a fan has – by purchasing the domain JebBush.com and redirecting it to Trump’s own website.
This is what you’re greeted with when trying to find out some info about George W Bush’s younger brother.
Bush’s actual campaign website is Jeb2016.com, and it’s not apparent whether the JebBush.com domain ever belonged to him – which is strange considering he’s been in the public eye for so many years.
Either way, it looks an incredibly silly oversight now that his name is sending people directly to a rival’s website.
And Bush isn’t the only Republican this has happened to – Carly Fiorina, another GOP candidate, didn’t register CarlyFiorina.org. Someone who you’d imagine is a former employee is using it “to tell you how many people she laid off at Hewlett-Packard”.
So, the lesson here is to register your name’s domain. You never know who’ll be using it against you in 10 years.
