Facebook has added a new ability to the virtual reality version of its app – the ability to ‘Like’ 360 videos while wearing Gear VR.
The headset is a go-to destination for viewing the 360 videos that have been up and running on the site for some months now, and enables wearers to effectively step into the videos they’re watching and look around them.

Now, users will be able to hover the on-screen cursor over the Like button and choose the thumbs up icon, as well as any of the five new emoji reactions that were added earlier this year.
Facebook owns virtual reality firm Oculus, makers of the Rift headset, as well as partnering on Samsung’s Gear VR, which launched last year.
Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg has said that he believes virtual reality is the “future of social” and will become the main platform on which we communicate and share in the future.
