16-year-old arrested in connection with a string of indecent assaults

Police say a 16-year-old boy is helping them with their inquiries into a string of indecent assaults - all of which are alleged to have happened in the space of around three hours.

According to the Police, “at 10:50 hours on Friday 7 April 2017, a woman was approached by a man and indecently assaulted whilst sitting on the beach near La Haule car park."

"Between 13:00 and 13:30 hours later that day a second woman was approached by a man and indecently assaulted. She was sitting on the beach close to the Gunsite in St Aubin’s Bay.

"And at 14:45 hours a third woman was approached by a man and indecently assaulted whilst sitting on a bench in Jardins De La Mer in the Waterfront area.

"All three woman have been supported by the Police and, whilst not injured, have been shaken by the experience.”
