A 75 year-old woman has been seriously injured after being hit by an 80 year-old driver.
The accident happened just before lunchtime today outside the garage at Greve d'Azette, and the road has been closed in both directions from Plat Douet road to Green Road. The elderly lady is being treated at Jersey General Hospital and her condition is described as "comfortable."
The woman was walking when she hit by the man driving a blue Ford Fiesta.
Police are asking any members of the public who may have witnessed this incident to contact them on 612612.
