A 48-year-old man charged with attempting to murder a woman by stabbing her, has had his case committed to the Royal Court.
Luis Abreu Dos Santos appeared in the Magistrates Court this morning before Relief Magistrate Nuno Santos-Costa.
He is charged with the attempted murder of a woman in property on Valley Road in St. Helier by stabbing her multiple times, and grave and criminal assault.
Mr Dos Santos was defended by Advocate Mike Preston, and Crown Advocate Matthew Maletroit appeared for the prosecution.
Mr Dos Santos's case was committed to the Royal Court, he has been remanded in custody until his appearance in the Royal Court on December 17.
