The Ambulance Service has apologised to any patients affected by a power outage at the station yesterday.
While the ‘999’ line remained live and continuity plans were “successfully deployed”, some IT and phone systems were affected when the power went down around 05:00 on Wednesday 4 May.
While Ambulance officials said this resulted in “some disruption to patients and service users contacting the Patient Transport Service.”
In a statement released in the afternoon, the service provided an update: “As of 13:00, all systems and services are running as normal.
“The States of Jersey Ambulance Service would like to apologise to patients and service users for any inconvenience caused as a result of this outage.”
They added: “In addition, we would like to thank all personnel on site, Jersey Property Holdings and the engineering department at Health and Community Services for their immediate response in returning our systems back to normal.”
