Ben Howard to headline Jersey Live

Ben Howard has been announced as the Sunday headliner for this year’s Jersey Live.

The 27-year-old festival favourite joins Ellie Goulding at the top of the bill for this year’s event, which takes place at the Royal Jersey Agricultural and Horticultural Society showground in Trinity on 30 and 31 August.

Organisers say this year’s event will see five incredible stages and 10,000 visitors each day, as well as a new kids’ field with a Big Top stage.

They have already announced that Diversity, the Klaxons and John Newman will perform at the event, which has not yet gained the final green-light from the Bailiff’s panel.

Ellie Goulding won the Brit Award for Best Solo Female Artist for 2014, and her singles “Burn” and “I Need Your Love” were both nominated for British Single of the Year and Video of the Year.

Jersey Live is the biggest event on the Islands social calendar and has been attracting increasingly more star-studded line-ups since the first event in 2004. Last year’s event was headlined by Fatboy Slim, Chic and Example and was the first at which organisers were allowed to provide a campsite for festival-goers from outside of the Island.
