The body of a man was found by a dog-walker on St Ouen’s beach near Big Vern’s early this morning.

The body was found at around 5.30 am this morning – police have not yet identified the man, but they say that it is not believed to be that of missing Adrian Lynch.

Police say that an investigation has begun into the death of the man.

In a statement, police said: “A Force Medical Examiner has examined the body in situ and at this time does not believe the death to be suspicious; however as is standard practice following a death of this nature an investigation has begun on behalf of the Deputy Viscount.”
