The finale to this year’s Branchage Festival will see one of the Island’s historic forts brought to life with a huge 3D light show to music.

The iconic Radiophonic Workshop will perform an exclusive electronic score live during the record-breaking half-hour audiovisual show at St Aubin’s Fort – the first time an islet has been completely lit up.

Islanders will be able to watch the evening’s spectacle on 28 September from the car park and slipway next to the Channel Island Yacht Club where the electronic musicians will be playing live on the roof terrace.

Boat owners are being encouraged to get involved and dress up their vessels and sail out to the Fort for a front row seat on the water.

The visual experience will be put together by animation creators, Novak, and 3D mapping technicians, QED, - who created shows for the Londonderry Lumiere Festival and last year’s New Year’s Eve celebrations in London.

The Radiophonic Workshop have created some of the most memorable soundtracks of all time including the Doctor Who theme tune.

The show starts at 8 pm.

The Branchage festival runs from Wednesday 24 to Sunday 28 September.
