A schoolboy was left with bruising and swelling after a car drove over his foot without stopping, Police have said in an appeal for witnesses.
The alleged incident happened as the boy was walking to school around 07:50 down Rue du Pignon in the direction of Rue du Hocq.
“The car didn’t stop and the boy sustained some bruising and swelling to his foot. The car was described as a dark blue saloon. It’s a very narrow road and it’s possible that the driver didn’t realise they had driven over the boys foot, but police would like to speak to the driver of the car,” they said.
