A Great Britain archer, personal trainer, and former Miss Battle has added another string to her bow by venturing into the world of music with the release of her debut Christmas single.

Lucy O’Sullivan has released the song, which is entitled 'Christmas Christmas', under the pseudonym 'Lucy Holly'.

Her new track, aimed at capturing the essence of a traditional British Christmas, reflects on the easy-going nature of childhood holiday celebrations.

As well as being a festive anthem, the song also carries a personal touch by featuring a tribute to Lucy's late father and aiming “to evoke the emotional chords of the listeners during this festive season".

Lucy explained: “A few Christmases back, I found myself with scattered words and a basic tune swirling in my mind.”

“Over the past three Christmases, I attempted to build upon this musical idea with encouragement from my other half.”

“However, everything changed this summer when I crossed paths with Nic Dinnie during one of his performances at Kismet.

"As a playful jest, I mentioned having a Christmas song and tune, to which he responded by inviting me to record it. The rest, as they say, became history.”

Lucy then collaborated with producer Nic at his local studio in Jersey to bring her musical vision to life.
