Police investigating "unexpected death" at Commercial Buildings

Police have confirmed that they are investigating an "unexpected death of a male" following an incident at Commercial Buildings yesterday evening.

The road was closed for several hours in the early evening but later reopened.

In a statement issued at 19:40, police said: "Commercial Buildings is now open. 

"The States of Jersey Police are dealing with the unexpected death of a male in a private address. 

"This remains under investigation and a report will be submitted to the Deputy Viscounts in due course."

Pictured: At least three police cars, two ambulances and a fire engine were sent to the scene outside Normans.

Multiple emergency services attended the incident.
