An anonymous international finance company is on the hunt for two artists to create works celebrating the island's uniqueness, with a budget of up to £4,000 each to decorate its St. Helier offices.
The company has asked ArtHouse Jersey to help source the two artists.
The company wants one of the pieces to be figurative or portraiture. It should evoke Jersey as a place as well the people who make it what it is, championing the local community and celebrating the island’s diversity.
The other piece of original work should be a small sculpture, which can be of any style bu must speak of the island's uniqueness, for the company's lobby space.
Both pieces will have a budget of £4,000 and will need to be completed by mid-May.
Artists who are interested in this opportunity are invited to visit ArtHouse Jersey's website for more information. Those applying will need to submit a short statement about the work they intend to produce along with visuals and a resume by Monday 20 April.
