A local French teaching group is hoping Islanders can help solve a murder case – in French!
The Alliance Française is looking for twenty sleuths to work out who dunnit at 5 Library Place on Thursday.
They’ll get to work in small teams at their murder mystery party, questioning the suspects, translating their alibis and trying to solve the mystery.
Alliance Française de Jersey’s Assistant to the director Stefan Rousseau said: “Having fun is also an integral part of French culture as well as part of the learning process. Part of our role is to give our students an unforgettable experience.
“The idea is to give our students and French speaking Islanders a chance to practice their French in a different setting while having a good time.”
Stefan says it doesn’t matter how good you are at speaking the language to be an investigator on this case.
If you want to help crack it, it costs £5 for members of the Alliance Française and £6 for non-members and you need to call Stefan on 875655 or email him at info@afjersey.com to book your place.
