Crash near St. John Ambulance HQ leads to arrest

A 24-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a crash near the St. John Ambulance headquarters.

Police say the collision happened around 19:50 on Sunday (20 June) in the area of La Grande Route De St. Martin.

“The vehicle involved was a blue Volkswagen Passat estate and it is believed that two other cars may have been in the vicinity prior to the crash,” officers said in an appeal for more information.

“The 24-year-old male driver, who was not injured, was later arrested and is currently on Police bail.”

They are looking for anyone who may have CCTV or dash-cam footage of the incident, or prior to the incident.

Anyone with any information or saw what happened is asked to call Police on 612612 or make an anonymous report via Crimestoppers’ online form
