Crash driver 'failed to stop'

Police are hunting a driver who failed to stop after crashing into a garden wall and causing "significant damage" to a car parked outside a property last night.

Officers said the collision happened on La Rue des Platons in Trinity around 18:18.

The offending vehicle, which had been heading west along La Rue des Platons, left green paint on the wall and its bodywork was heard scraping as it left the area.

Police believe that it would have sustained “moderate damage” to its front and passenger side.

Police are now appealing for more information about the 'fail to stop' incident.

They are asking the driver to come forward or any witnesses or workshops who see similarly described cars to get in touch with them, either on 612612 or through Crimestoppers anonymously on 08000 555 111 or via the Crimestoppers website.
