Islanders who have recently had covid-19 will now be able to get a certificate to evidence their recovery for travel purposes.
Anyone who has recovered following a positive PCR test will be able to request a digital Covid-19 Recovery Certificate, which includes a QR code which can be scanned to show details of when the person tested PCR positive and an expiry date for the certificate.
The certificate is valid from day 11 after testing positive, and will expire 180 days after the date of the positive PCR test.
The Recovery Certificate replaces the Recovery Letter which was previously issued upon request to the Coronavirus Helpline.

While the Government noted that islanders may have some “natural immunity” to covid after infection, they recommended that they continue to follow guidance to protect themselves and others from the virus, including keeping up to date with vaccinations.
