Flight passenger charged with bringing drugs worth £162k to Jersey

A 23-year-old flight passenger has been charged with importing Class A drugs with an estimated street value of £162,000 into Jersey.

Sean Mulami Aboh (23) appeared in the Magistrate’s Court today charged with bringing 230g heroin and 3g cocaine on a flight from London Gatwick into Jersey on Thursday 27 July.

The case was deemed too serious to be dealt with in the Magistrate's Court.

Mr Aboh has been remanded in custody until 11 December, when he is due to appear before the Royal Court.
