Monday 13 May 2019

Police are investigating whether an elderly man struck an 11-year-old boy with his car before driving off.

According to Police, the young boy alleges that he was crossing the road from Millennium Park into Oxford Road when his right leg was hit by a grey Vauxhall car driven by an elderly man with glasses, who then apparently failed to stop and drove up Oxford Road.

The 11-year-old, who was not injured, and his friends then shouted towards the car as it drove away.
