A woman in her 80s has been hospitalised after being hit by a car as she crossed the road.

The 83-year-old had been at the junction of Devonshire Place and Great Union Road near Bob’s Motorcycles when she was struck by a black Toyota Rav 4 around 16:10 on Wednesday.
