A former primary school Deputy Head is due to be sentenced in the Royal Court today for making indecent images of children and sending “obscene” messages.
James John Matthews, who was also previously a safeguarding officer at St. John’s School, pleaded guilty to making the indecent images via video link in the Royal Court in July.
They related to a total of 33 images - each of which in a different category.
One in 'Category A' was described as a "moving image".
He also admitted to sending messages of an obscene and indecent nature from a computer.
He is due to be sentenced by the Inferior Number this morning.
