Festive fun onboard

Tuesday 15 December 2015

Condor hope their passengers will sail away with some festive spirit this week and help raise money for charity.

All passengers travelling on the Condor Liberation between the Channel Islands and Poole from this Friday are in for some Christmas fun onboard.

There should be plenty of 'Ho ho ho' as Father Christmas is all set to make a special visit to do the Captain's announcement and there will be free mince pies and festive movies playing with free popcorn for little ones.

The ferry operator is donating £1 to Macmillan Cancer support for every customer who dons a Christmas jumper for their sailings on Christmas Jumper Day on Friday and the crew will continue to wear theirs throughout the festive period.

Condor Ferries Head of Marketing Justin Amey said: “We've organised the festive activity to help our passengers get into the spirit of Christmas. We know many of our passengers will be travelling to see friends and family for the Christmas season during this time, so will be the perfect way to get them in the festive mood. We hope the planned activities will go a little way in spreading some festive joy with our passengers, and they get involved in Christmas Jumper Day - it is for a good cause after all!"

The Ports and check-in desks will also be decked out for Christmas and the fun continues onboard until 23 December.
