A serious fire destroyed a sandwich shop in town in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Two fire crews tackled the blaze that had engulfed Mange Tout in Sand Street just after 1am after making sure everyone living in the flats above it had been evacuated.
After putting out the fire, crews used a mechanical fan to clear out all the smoke from the shop and from the properties above.
The fire and heat damage has wrecked the shop and a fire investigation team is back there today to look into the cause of the fire.
