The teenage driver who was left in a critical condition following an Easter Sunday crash on the Five Mile Road has been transferred from a UK hospital back to Jersey.
De La Salle pupil Fraser Armstrong had been transported to Southampton General Hospital following the blue Peugeot 106 crash, which also involved three other sixth form pupils from the school.
The other students involved returned home after being treated for their injuries some weeks ago, but the Health Department confirmed today that Mr Armstrong only returned to the Island from Southampton's neurological unit earlier this week. He is described as being in a “serious but stable” condition.
Police are continuing their investigations into the accident, and are still appealing for information from those in the area at the time or with CCTV cameras at their premises.
