The Vaccination Centre at Fort Regent will be reopening next week after being forced to close due to the Pier Road tragedy.

The centre has been closed since the explosion last Saturday, with islanders instead diverted to Les Quennevais Sports Centre.

From Tuesday 20 December, islanders will be able to book appointments, or walk in to receive any of their doses.

Autumn Booster and flu vaccinations are available to eligible islanders, including:

  • islanders aged 50 and over,
  • those in a clinical risk group (aged 5 and over) Including pregnancy,
  • household contacts of immunosuppressed individuals (aged five and over),
  • registered carers (aged 16 and over),
  • health and social care workers, and
  • residents and staff working in care homes for older adults.
