Four charities have been awarded a total of £35,000 in grants for their "vital work" in the Parish of St Helier.
Three charities – Brighter Futures, Jersey Cheshire Home and Age Concern – received £10,000 each, while Family Nursing and Home Care received £5,000.
Constable of St Helier Simon Crowcroft said: "I am pleased to award each of these charities that do such vital work in the Parish a charitable grant.
"It is a difficult time for charities as we are all impacted by the rising cost of living, and we must therefore do our part as a Parish to support them."
Brighter Futures supports families through programmes tackling parent-child relationships, mental health and wellbeing, and education for parents and carers.
Jersey Cheshire Home supports islanders with disabilities by providing full-time residency as well as respite care at its St Helier facilities.
Age Concern supports older people in Jersey through activities and campaigning.
Family Nursing and Home Care helps families and members of the community who need support at home – from prenatal care to palliative and end-of-life care.
Representatives from all four charities received the grants at a Vin d'Honneur on Wednesday 21 February.
The parish grants money to charities annually, via its Charitable Donations Fund.
The deadline to apply for next year's grants is Wednesday 1 May, and applications should be made via the Town Hall.
Brighter Futures is Connect's charity partner for 2024.
