Four-way brawl leaves man bloodied

Wednesday 20 February 2019

A young man suffered a bloodied nose that had to be treated by paramedics following a late night fight with three others in the middle of town.

The brawl took place between 01:10 and 01:20 on Sunday outside USC on King Street.

Police said it led to a 23-year-old sustaining a “series of kicks and punches”, which left his nose bleeding. He was later treated by an ambulance, but did not attend hospital.

The three other men involved in the altercation, which Police are describing as an “assault”, reportedly walked towards McDonalds.

Police are now looking to speak with the men, and are asking islanders to get in touch if they can help identify them.

Anyone who saw the incident or knows more is urged to call 612612 or make an anonymous report via Crimestoppers’ online form.
