2,000 passengers will not be able to sail using Condor today due to strikes in St. Malo.
All services between Jersey and St. Malo have been cancelled due to industrial action by French St. Malo stevedores, which will see all ship access to the Brittany port denied.
Condor Rapide’s two round trips have therefore been cut from the schedule, while the Commodore Goodwill’s weekly freight service will also be unable to operate.
CEO Paul Luxon described the disruption caused by the industrial action as "exceptionally frustrating and inconvenient for our passengers."

He continued: "We are dismayed that the action taken by the stevedores at such short notice is affecting the travel of our passengers and we share their abject disappointment.
"Condor is resolved to mitigating, as best it can, the impact this is having and we are contacting all passengers to offer them a full refund or reschedule their sailing."
Passengers are being contacted to inform them of the disruption and urge them to book alternative arrangements.
